Entertainment blog What’s Playing seems to have gotten a right nice TWILIGHT scoop for all you Twi-Hards, it seems that THE SHORT SECOND LIFE OF BREE TANNER might be coming to the big screen.
For those unaware, TANNER is a novella that takes place during and before ECLIPSE. If you caught ECLIPSE recently, you might remember that Bree Tanner was actually in the movie and was played by SILENT HILL actress Jodelle Ferland. And if that doesn’t jog your memory, Tanner was the little girl that (SPOILER ALERT!!) refuses to fight in the big werewolf VS vampire brawl and gets mind-murdered by Dakota Fanning.

Ooooh, Alanna’s happy! After the *forever* long wait, finally we know where the two parts of HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS will be split, and thank you Cinema Blend (who caught the spell from RupertGrint.net) for this information! According to RupertGrint.net’s preview of this month’s Entertainment Weekly, we now know that the split will be at Chapter 24 (titled “The Wandmaker”) with Voldy swiping the Elder Wand. (“Swiper no Swiping!!”) Also, OMG to the scans from Entertainment Weekly that are found on the RupertGrint.net Gallery. *squee*

Of all the mysteries left unresolved at the end of LOST, I don’t think “Who was behind the supply drops?” would have been at the top of MUST ANSWER list. But, the powers that be and the ones who made the show apparently felt otherwise and that question will be one of the many answered during the epilogue that will be included with the season 6 set of LOST. Titled “The New Man In Charge”, this 16-minute long short will wrap up some of the loose ends, including what was the deal with Walt, some details about Ben and Hurley’s run on the island and the aforementioned supply drop issue.

And we’re back again to my favorite subject: HARRY POTTER!! Yes yes, I know, I’m absolutely insane, but that’s okay! At the SDCC (San Diego ComicCon) they were kind enough to set out some of the Horcruxes that will appear in the seventh movie. Kinda. Interested to know what the first few minutes of TRANSFORMERS 3 hold? Want to know if Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is going to suck as bad as we all know she will? Interested to find out if Skids and Mudflap will pop up and possibly sing? If so, what’s your guess as to song choice? I’m thinking a very racially-sensitive version of the Jackson/McCartney classic “Ebony And Ivory”.

Spoilers are a tricky thing. On one hand, this the way of the world now, everything gets spoiled before the movie even hits theaters. Gone are the days of THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK where you could actually sneak a mega-bomb like Vader’s reveal into the pic. Had that movie been released now, audiences would have known months in advance that Vader was Luke’s father, that the movie ended on a cliffhanger and a muppet would be the MVP of the entire STAR WARS franchise (seriously, is there anyone cooler than Yoda?). Spoilers are a fact of life now, given to you either by word-of-mouth, reviews, websites or even the trailers for the movies themselves.
