Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Joins The Cast Of MAD MAX: FURY ROAD
Deadline is reporting Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, the model/"actress" who replaced Megan Fox in last year's TRANSFORMERS: DARK OF THE MOON, has joined the cast of George Miller's MAD MAX: FURY ROAD. She'll be starring alongside Tom Hardy (replacing Mel Gibson as 'Mad' Max Rockatansky), Charlize Theron, Nicholas Hoult, Zoe Kravitz, Riley Keogh and Adelaide Clemens.
Main reason I'm posting this isn't because Huntington-Whiteley joined the cast -- I have no idea how a gal with a smoking hot bod and the face of Dolph Lundgren keeps getting work -- but because I'm just excited to see ANYONE joining the cast. New cast members means this flick is inching ever so closer to production. This flick inching ever so closer to production means audiences might have a new MAD MAX flick in the next year or two. That's cause for rejoice, people.
USELESS KNOWLEDGE: Despite rumors to the contrary, Miller insists FURY ROAD is a sequel set after the events of MAD MAX BEYOND THUNDERDOME.
