SDCC 2012: First Trailer For PARAGON LOST, The MASS EFFECT 3 Anime Prequel

Of all the characters in the MASS EFFECT universe, James Vega is NOT the one I’d have chosen to headline an anime spin-off. Vega is a bland musclehead, voiced by Freddie Prinze Jr no less, who was clearly wedged into the third game to give GEARS OF WAR fans someone to root for. Any character, Ashley and Kaidan included, would’ve been a better choice for a standalone anime adventure than this clown.

Oh well. Here’s the first official trailer for MASS EFFECT: PARAGON LOST. The narration may be overblown, the prequel angle overdone, and the story one that fans already know, but the animation style is kinda okay in a late 90s WB way. Guess that counts for something.
