Juno Temple And Riley Keough Are Lupine Lesbians In Brad Rust’s JACK AND DIANE
The first trailer for the long-in-development (it was originally going to be Ellen Page and Olivia Thirlby’s follow-up to JUNO) teenage lesbian werewolf pic JACK AND DIANE is a little odd. It definitely delivers one the promise of “teenage lesbianism” with lots of arty non-exploitive make-out sessions between stars Juno Temple (Selina Kyle’s little pointless blond friend in THE DARK KNIGHT RISES) and Riley Keough (daughter of Lisa Marie Presley) but disappoints, outside of a couple of wicked hairy stop-motion bits from the Quay Brothers, when it comes to the wolf-y side of the equation.
Oh well, teenage lesbian werewolves. Teenage lesbian werewolves. TEENAGE LESBIAN WEREWOLVES!!! If that isn’t enough to convince you to order JACK AND DIANE on VOD September 28th or see it in theaters on November 2nd then I’ve got nothing else to say to you. Teenage lesbian werewolves should be on everyone’s -- male or female -- cinematic wish list.
PLOT SYNOPSIS: Jack (Riley Keough) and Diane (Juno Temple), two teenage girls, meet in New York City and spend the night kissing ferociously. Diane's charming innocence quickly begins to open Jack's tough skinned heart. But, when Jack discovers that Diane is leaving the country in a week she tries to push her away. Diane must struggle to keep their love alive while hiding the secret that her newly awakened sexual desire is giving her werewolf-like visions.
