2014: Year In Review – Part 2

review2

Welcome to Adamantium Bullet’s look back at the good, the bad, and the underrated films of 2014. In this three part podcast, AngieBee and I will be discussing not only our favorite and least favorite films, but also the movie moments, hunks, hotties, twist endings, cameos, and gems that thrilled us at the multiplex last year.

Yeah, we’re a little late with this, but we’re just in time for you to check this out in place of the Academy Awards which is four hours of pretty people giving each other pretty statues for movies, short films, and documentaries you're likely never going to get around to seeing anyways. Don’t even pretend like you saw THE THEORY OF EVERYTHING, WILD, THE IMITATION GAME, SELMA, or STILL ALICE on the big screen. The numbers don’t lie. You saw GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY. You probably, just like we do, love GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY. This is a list for people who love GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY. All snobs, hipsters, and whiners should clock out now.

The Crappiest Films Of 2014

TRUST ME - What the hell was writer/director/star Clark Gregg thinking creating a mash-up of LIFE WITH MIKEY, SUNSET BOULEVARD, and BRAZIL?

LEPRECHAUN ORIGINS - No Warwick Davis, no actual origin, no wisecracks, no clear shots of the Leprechaun, no decent kills. Pointless.

NOT SAFE FOR WORK - Barely 60 minutes, TV movie aesthetic, no ending, and waste of director Joe Johnston's time and talent.

KNIGHTS OF BADASSDOM – It might've been a good movie once, now it’s just an unmitigated disaster.

MOCKINGBIRD – Writer/Director Bryan Bertino's follow-up to THE STRANGERS sat completed on the shelves over at Universal for over two years. Easy to see why.
