2014: Year In Review – Part 3

review3

Welcome to Adamantium Bullet’s look back at the good, the bad, and the underrated films of 2014. In this three part podcast, AngieBee and I will be discussing not only our favorite and least favorite films, but also the movie moments, hunks, hotties, twist endings, cameos, and gems that thrilled us at the multiplex last year.

Yeah, we’re a little late with this, but we’re just in time for you to check this out in place of the Academy Awards which is four hours of pretty people giving each other pretty statues for movies, short films, and documentaries you're likely never going to get around to seeing anyways. Don’t even pretend like you saw THE THEORY OF EVERYTHING, WILD, THE IMITATION GAME, SELMA, or STILL ALICE on the big screen. The numbers don’t lie. You saw GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY. You probably, just like we do, love GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY. This is a list for people who love GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY. All snobs, hipsters, and whiners should clock out now.

Films We Won’t Be Getting Around To Seeing Anytime Soon

ENDLESS LOVE and ABOUT LAST NIGHT - Neither one was good first time around, so why bother with the remake?

SON OF GOD – We didn't watch THE BIBLE mini-series, not in a rush to watch a edited down theatrical version.

HEAVEN IS FOR REAL – Pass.

KIRK CAMERON’S SAVING CHRISTMAS – Hard pass.

A HAUNTED HOUSE 2 - Didn't see the first, likely won’t see the sequel.

DEVIL'S KNOT - I'll just watch Joe Berlinger's PARADISE LOST docu-trilogy about the West Memphis 3, thankyouverymuch.

WOLF CREEK 2 - First one was crap, sequel is likely more of the same.

Films We’ll NEVER Get Around To Seeing

THE HUNGOVER GAMES

TYLER PERRY'S THE SINGLE MOM'S CLUB

AIRPLANE VS VOLCANO

GAMBIT - So bad that even Colin Firth, Alan Rickman, and a script by the Coen Brothers can't save it.

LEGENDS OF OZ: DOROTHY'S RETURN - A semi-DTV 70mil CG animated WIZARD OF OZ sequel with Lea Michelle as Dorothy? NO.
