2017: Year In Review (Our Favorite And Least Favorite Films Of 2017)

Welcome to Adamantium Bullet’s look back at the year 2017 in film.

In this podcast, J Bryant and AngieBee will reveal their favorite and least favorite films of last year, as well as a few underrated gems.

Yes, this list is a little late, but it has arrived just in time for you to check out in place of the stuffy Academy Awards which is always four hours of pretty people giving each other pretty statues for movies, short films, and documentaries you likely never got around to seeing. Don’t even pretend like you went and saw CALL ME BY YOUR NAME, PHANTOM THREAD, LADY BIRD, THE FLORIDA PROJECT, or A GHOST STORY. Those are all fine films ...which you did not go see. Box office numbers do not lie.

You went, like the majority of moviegoers, to see STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI, GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2, WONDER WOMAN, and BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. You probably, like us here at Adamantium Bullet do, loved STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI, GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2, WONDER WOMAN, and BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. There is no shame in this. It was a rough year and that endless wave of big budget blockbusters helped audiences sail through it.

This is a list for people who loved STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI, GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2, WONDER WOMAN, and BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. All snobs, hipsters, whiners, haters, and Trumpers should clock out now.
