Let us never accuse Disney of not knowing how to properly hype a movie. They know that TRON LEGACY is probably going to be one of the biggest movies of the year, possibly 2010’s version of AVATAR. And they know that over-hyping the movie before release would be a grave mistake (especially since it doesn’t release till December), so they are being very careful with the flow of information. A plot synopsis here, a pic there, a couple of billboards, but nothing so huge that it might deflate your anticipation for the project. After all, this is a TRON sequel, nearly 30 years after the original, and Disney needs to you wait just a little bit more.

That having been said, here’s a new TRON LEGACY pic, this one of Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges). Nothing real spectacular here (especially if you saw the concept teaser trailer) but it is interesting to note that Flynn has a data disc strapped to his back. Not sure what that means at the moment (in the original, only programs had discs), but it’s a cool pic. Also of note, no green screen, that’s a real set. Pretty cool.
