Leaking a few days before its premiere during the Super Bowl, THE LAST AIRBENDER 30-second teaser is here and it looks amazing. Now, in the spirit of full disclosure, I’ve never seen a single episode of AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER, the series that this film is based on, but if the show is half as awesome as this trailer is, I’ve got some catching up to do. Movie gods willing, AIRBENDER will deliver on the promise that the trailers have shown and M. Night Shyamalan (LADY IN THE WATER would have permanently ended a lesser filmmaker’s career) will be rescued out of director hell.
