First Look: Daniel Radcliffe In HORNS
EW has scored the first look at Daniel Radcliffe in Alexandre Aja’s HORNS. The 23-year-old HARRY POTTER actor plays Hellboy …er, I mean, “a less-than-angelic young man who wakes up to find the titular appendages growing from his forehead.”

Daniel Radcliffe To Headline Alexandre Aja’s Fantasy/Horror Pic HORNS
AICN is reporting Daniel Radcliffe has nabbed the lead in the director Alexandre Aja’s film adaptation of Joe Hill’s horror novel HORNS. Wow. The star of THE WOMAN IN BLACK and HARRY POTTER franchise, the “pull no punches” director of HIGH TENSION and PIRANHA 3D, and the bestselling author of HEART SHAPED BOX who just so happens to be the son of Stephen King. The movie gods smile upon on that combo.

Film Bites: Prepare Yourself For The Last HARRY POTTER Theatrical Trailer Ever
What you’re about to witness is the last HARRY POTTER theatrical trailer ever. As in, no more. This is the end, my friend. No more POTTER pics. Well, no more until J.K Rowling decides she needs another beach house and then cranks out some HARRY POTTER: THE NEXT GENERATION nonsense that Warner will, no doubt, immediately option and shove into production. Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint can say all day that this is the end and they won’t come back, but when Warner shoves a fat bag of cash in front of them, they’ll come back. They always come back.
Speaking of Rowling, have you heard about POTTERMORE? Wonder what that’s all about? Click HERE to check out the YouTube channel she set up and click HERE to scope the official site. Wouldn’t shock me that when the timer (both sites currently have a simple timer counting down to…something) hits zero, Rowling announces a new series of books set in the Potter-verse. Rowling’s gotta eat.
Anyways, back on point, here’s the final trailer for HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS PART II. Watch it, absorb it, know this is the end and grab the tissues. Tears will be welling up. Click on the pic to check it out…
Posterized: Eleven (!) New HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS Action Posters
Holy freaking heck, these new HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS PART 2 3D posters are nifty. Can July 15th get here any sooner? Well, apparently not, unless you have a time-tuner (or TARDIS). But, nonetheless, as long as they keep giving us clips and previews and posters, I’m happy as a fat kid with cake!
Now, as for these posters, I’m loving the attention to detail, and happy it’s not just plain same backgrounds for every character. I love that Voldy has his Nagini in the frame with him, Harry’s covered in blood, Draco is in the Room of Requirement, and Griphook has the sword of Gryffindor. That is what makes them nifty. And McGonagal? With the statues of Hogwarts surrounding her? I’m in love. And for twin-fans, Fred and George get their own poster! My happiness is bursting inside of me, though it would be even better if they differentiated them and showed the other ear. But I’m not complaining one bit, no I’m not!

THE WOMAN IN BLACK Finds US Distribution
Deadline is reporting that CBS Films has snatched up the US distribution rights to the gothic horror pic THE WOMAN IN BLACK starring Daniel Radcliffe. No release date has been set (my hope is for Halloween 2011). I’m just psyched that somebody is deciding to release this stateside. I was worried that it might just hit theaters overseas and then head direct-to-video here.

Film Bites: The Teaser For HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS PART II Is Here!
Probably going to catch flack for the following statement, but here goes: I’ve never read any of the HARRY POTTER books. My only knowledge from the series is based on the movies and the insane rambling that I sometimes have to endure when AlannaLynn goes off on a Potter tangent. Outside of that, my Potter knowledge is exactly zero. Do I plan I reading the books? Not really. Do I really want to? Nope.
Want to know why? I have no interest in the books because the movies have done just fine by me. Outside of a sub-par sixth installment (HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE), the films are quality entertainment of the highest degree and they are what I consider to be the franchise. Oh sure, the books sold millions upon millions of copies and are beloved worldwide. But I don’t think I could read the books and not think of these actors when reading the books and then that would remind me that there is a perfectly good series of movies I could be watching instead of reading and then I would abandon the books and simply opt for a seven (eight, if you count this last installment as a separate film) movie marathon. Whew! What a sentence. I’m sure Miss Couture, my 12th grade creative writing teacher, would have given me an F for thinking about using a sentence like that. No doubt.
